WE ARE FRENCH MANILA COFFEE (FMC)

A Franco-Filipino duo made up of Gaël, a French native, and Gian, a French-speaking Filipino. Gaël is in charge of explaining cultural differences that will help you understand the language through the eyes of a French speaker, and Gian is responsible for pedagogical techniques that will help you understand grammatical rules by relating the target language with your mother tongue. Gian teaches both children and professionals.

Can I pay per hour without having to buy a whole package ?
Yes. You don’t have to subscribe to a package in order to start learning. However, the price for hourly lessons is higher than the price per hour in the package. If you prefer to pay per hour, we charge 750 PHP per hour. For other foreign currencies, like euro, US dollar, or yen, please contact us at frenchmanilacoffee@gmail.com so that we can send you the price list.)

Who is going to teach me ?
You will be taught by two teachers: Gael, a French native, teaches the language by emphasizing the French context and Gian, a Filipino francophone, teaches the language with the recognition that you are coming from a different mother tongue. They can teach you together. However, you may also choose just one teacher. Note, however, that Gael will only speak with you in French.

Do you offer online classes ?
Yes. Upon confirmation of enrollment, you will be receiving a Google meeting link.

Where do the face-to-face classes take place ?
As of the moment, French Manila Coffee does not have a permanent home just yet. We are still moving around and outside of the Philippines. Hence, face-to-face classes are temporarily suspended. However, we plan to restart offering face-to-face classes soon.

Do you also offer group classes ?
We will be offering online group classes for beginners very soon. Please follow us on Facebook for updates.

What will happen if I need to cancel a session ?
Sessions must be canceled at least 24 hours before. Courses canceled after the 24-hour deadline will be forfeited and will not be rescheduled.

How do I enroll and pay ? 
To enroll, please fill up this pre-enrollment form: https://forms.gle/xr3Vhojb6hb1fFECA. You will then receive an email about our bank details. Pay the enrollment fee and send a photo of the deposit slip to frenchmanilacoffee@gmail.com with your name. Upon receipt of your proof of payment, we will be sending you an email with the meeting link.

Can I get a discount if I refer another student ?
Yes. For every successful referral, that is, another student who will subscribe to a package, you get 15% off your next package purchase.​​​​​​​

Do I need to buy books or bring anything on the first day of the session ?
We’ve designed our own program and everything that goes with it, so we’ll provide you with PDF copies, audio files, etc…

Can I record our sessions ?
No. For minors, you can have your parents around if you want. But recording the sessions, or uploading/distributing/publishing the materials online is against our privacy and intellectual rights.
